FRIOUR project 13 is on rebellion, contestation, protest in all its meanings: artistic, political, social, cultural, historical and present ones. I dedicate this 2012 project to all mail artists who have told me they like my art but PLEASE Guido stay away from politics! They are forgetting that all the great art movements of the modern past (Dada, Surrealism, Cobra, Situationism) were involved in attempts to change society. So REBEL REBEL aka the essence of art expressions by artists in society

How to provoke a mini movement of sharing grief and art!!!
First stage: I make the Gabriel painting for Superhero
Second stage: Superhero decides to cut this painting into small pieces to share it with mail artists all over the world
Third stage: Cheryl Penn decides to follow this example by making large paintings and cutting them also to distribute in the mail art network
Fourth stage: Katerina Nikoltsou makes large paintings in blue and does the same!

The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature needs our support to replace these trees and restore the environment and livelihood of Palestinians as well as in its work to raise awareness about the occupation & destruction of Palestine. Support this action to help win peace and justice in Palestine. The trees can be designated in your name or in the name of anyone you choose to honour this way. BBCF is working with APN to raise funds and to help tell people everywhere about Palestine. In 2008 APN achieved its goal of planting one million tress and APN is now working on its second million tree campaign. In Victoria, we have already raised more than $10000 for trees.
